Polyclonal Antibody Goat anti-human hemoglobin purification: Goats were immunized with human hemoglobin in Freund's adjuvant. After multiple immunizations the goats were bled. serum collected and the anti- human hemoglobin immunoaffinity purified off an antigen containing immunoabsorbant
Our Polyclonal Antibody Goat anti-human hemoglobin purification forms a single precipitin band with human adult hemoglobin A1. A2. F and S. by immunoelectrophoresis
Western Blots 1:1.000-1:5.000 ELISA capture: 5 ug/ml
What is Human hemoglobin? human hemoglobin(hb)main component of red blood cells. is a protein that carries oxygen away from the lungs and carbon dioxide back to the lungs. A molecule of human hemoglobin(hb) consists of 2 pairs of peptide (alpha and beta globins) chains and four heme groups. each with one atom of iron. At a normal oxygen tension of 100 mmHg in the blood vessels of the lungs. 95 - 98% of the human hemoglobin(hb) is combined with oxygen. In the tissues further from the lungs. where the oxygen tension is much lower. the oxygen readily separates from human hemoglobin(hb).
The human hemoglobin(hb)molecule is made up of four polypeptide chains (Alpha 1. Beta 1 . Alpha 2. Beta 2). noncovalently bound to each other. There are four heme-iron complexes

Human Hemoglobin Research: Free plasma human hemoglobin(hb) separates into alpha-beta molecules. These are bound to a serum protein called haptoglobin and taken up by the liver. However. when the plasma human hemoglobin(hb) levels exceed 50 - 200 mg/dl. which is the capacity of haptoglobin to bind human hemoglobin(hb) the free alpha-beta molecules pass into the urine.
