Not for use in diagnostic procedures. TOP Clonality Polyclonal Host Rabbit Species Reactivity Cross-reactivities against eni:yrnes of other sources may occur but have not been determined. Specificity The reagents were evaluated for potency, purity and specificity using most or all of the following techniques: immunoelectrophoresis, cross-immunoelectrophoresis, single radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony), block titration, ELISA, immunoblotting and enzyme inhibition. Purity/Purification The IgG (7S) fraction is prepared from the antiserum by ammonium sulphate precipitation and ion exchange chromatography. Form/Format Purified hyperimmune rabbit IgG Iyophilised from a solution in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2). Biological origin Rabbit Preservative No preservative added, as it may interfere with the antibody activity. No foreign protein added. Immunogen Polynucleotide phosphorylase isolated and purified from Micrococcus luteus. Freund's complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure. Physicochemical characteristics IgG protein concentration 10 mg/ml. No foreign proteins added. Handling The Iyophilised IgG fraction is shipped at ambient temperature and may be stored at +4 degree C; prolonged storage at or below -20 degree C. It is reconstituted by adding 1.0 ml sterile distilled water, spun down to remove insoluble particles, divided into small aliquots, frozen and stored at or below -20 degree C. Prior to use, an aliquot is thawed slowly at ambient temperature, spun down again and used to prepare working dilutions by adding sterile phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2). Repeated thawing and freezing should be avoided. Working dilutions should be stored at +4 degree C, not refrozen, and preferably used the same day. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation. It will not affect the performance of the product. Packing Vial with 10 mg IgG (7S) fraction, Iyophilized from phosphate buffered saline. Preparation and Storage Storage I shelf life:Lyophilized at +4 degree C = at least 10 yearsreconstituted at or below -20 degree C = 3-5 yearsreconstituted at +4 degree C = 7 days Other Notes Small volumes of anti-Micrococcus luteus Polynucleotide phosphorylase antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
