The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing AGXT2L1. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS7215312 kit is based on AGXT2L1 antibody-AGXT2L1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect AGXT2L1 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, AGXT2L1. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Intended Uses||This AGXT2L1 ELISA kit is a 1.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed for the quantitative determination of Mouse AGXT2L1. This ELISA kit for research use only, not for therapeutic or diagnostic applications!

Principle of the Assay: AGXT2L1 ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a monoclonal anti-AGXT2L1 antibody and an AGXT2L1-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with AGXT2L1-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the AGXT2L1 concentration since AGXT2L1 from samples and AGXT2L1-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-AGXT2L1 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by AGXT2L1 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind AGXT2L1-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The AGXT2L1 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
