Store this product at 4 degree C, do not freeze. The product is stable for one year from the date of shipment.
Other Notes
Small volumes of anti-Luciferase antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Related Product Information for
anti-Luciferase antibody
Photinus pyralis (Firefly) luciferase is a 62 kDa molecular weight enzyme which catalyzes a light-emitting reaction. Gene expression in transfected eukaryotic or prokaryotic cells is generally studied by linking a promoter sequence to an easily detectable 'reporter' gene such as that encoding for firefly luciferase. The luciferase gene of the North American firefly Photinus pyralis is one of the most versatile reporter genes.
