The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing H2BFM. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS9333351 kit is based on H2BFM antibody-H2BFM antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect H2BFM antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, H2BFM. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Two molecules of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4) form an octamer, around which approximately 146 bp of DNA is wrapped in repeating units, called nucleosomes. The linker histone, H1, interacts with linker DNA between nucleosomes and functions in the compaction of chromatin into higher order structures. This gene encodes a member of the H2B histone family.
