The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing IRS-2. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS014615 kit is based on IRS-2 antibody-IRS-2 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect IRS-2 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, IRS-2. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. The product of this gene is phosphorylated by the insulin receptor tyrosine kinase upon receptor stimulation, as well as by an interleukin 4 receptor-associated kinase in response to IL4 treatment.
