Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>In last one week, over 3000 cases of flu have been recorded across United States, as per the <span id=\"urn:enhancement-0c71995d-1085-4d8f-88de-ce7401eac55d\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-organization\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/centers-for-disease-control-and-prevention\">Centers for Disease Control<\/span> (<span id=\"urn:enhancement-5798f78b-4d24-49c0-b82e-18260be80937\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-organization\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/centers-for-disease-control-and-prevention\">CDC<\/span>). Physicians have requested people infected with Flu to work from home to avoid spreading the illness. The Symptoms of Flu include Fever, Chills, Cough, Sore throat, Runny or stuffy nose, Muscle or body aches, Headaches and Fatigue. In Children, the symptoms also include vomiting and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mybiosource.com\/learn\/diarrhea\/\">diarrhea<\/a>.<em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-134\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mybiosource.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/flu-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mybiosource.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/flu-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mybiosource.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/flu-370x278.jpg 370w, https:\/\/www.mybiosource.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/flu-570x428.jpg 570w, https:\/\/www.mybiosource.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/flu.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/> <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Since 2010, Conservative estimates of flu-related deaths range from 12,000 to 56,000 and Flu-related hospitalization range from 140,000 to 710,000. <span id=\"urn:enhancement-a3763230-11c2-4e6a-afc1-1c6a1d873b2e\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-organization\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/centers-for-disease-control-and-prevention\">CDC<\/span> advocates seasonal flu <span id=\"urn:enhancement-0ba6cfcd-1c58-422d-98bc-f1a9f186b685\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-creative-work\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/vaccine\">vaccine<\/span> to reduce the risk of becoming sick with seasonal flu, and to reduce the risk of spreading it to others.<\/p>\n<p>There are two types of flu vaccines offered: Trivalent flu vaccines and Quadrivalent flu vaccines. These vaccines confer <span id=\"urn:enhancement-98c14fbb-f947-499a-b68e-4ac94ce59a2b\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-creative-work\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/immunity\">immunity<\/span> for everyone above the age of 6 months. The vaccines are made available across the country in doctor\u2019s offices, clinics, health departments, pharmacies and college health centers. In some states, even schools and employers aid the <span id=\"urn:enhancement-7ce234ce-3343-42bd-b2bf-c0dba488a5fb\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/vaccination\">vaccination<\/span> program.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"urn:enhancement-2d3d4b53-d3dc-4759-9739-7327e091f96b\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-creative-work\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/vaxigrip\">Flu shots<\/span> in most cases are harmless, but sometimes lead to mild fever and aches, runny nose, sore throat, cough, vomiting and soreness around the area where the shot was given. These symptoms are usually short-lived.
