In the United States, almost 80 million people or 1 in every four individuals are known to carry <span id=\"urn:enhancement-33534b24-2e12-44a1-a420-e29cb293137a\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span> virus. There are almost 100 variants of the virus present and are responsible for infection at different body parts.<\/p>\n<p id=\"2\">HPV viruses are known to enter the body through several means like a small cut in skin or abrasion, direct skin contact, and direct sexual contact. Most of the cases, there is no visible symptoms for the infected individuals. However, when symptoms develop, <span id=\"urn:enhancement-c814dbbc-6fb5-4aa5-9d2e-7a25185a9fb2\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/warts\">warts<\/span> can be seen on different parts of the body depending on the variety of virus involved like<\/p>\n<p id=\"3\">Genital <span id=\"urn:enhancement-339b0a5f-a57d-44df-8064-34bd9743cd63\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/warts\">warts<\/span>&#8211; appearing as flat lesions or protrusion on the genital area.<br \/>\nCommon <span id=\"urn:enhancement-6fd4b6f4-726a-4d64-a0c2-235375c2975d\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/warts\">warts<\/span>&#8211; rough bumps like structure present on hand, elbow or fingers.<br \/>\nFlat <span id=\"urn:enhancement-3d33b796-c626-467c-ab7b-dbb2a48bec88\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/warts\">warts<\/span>&#8211; small darker than skin, appeared as small flat or slightly raised structure on face or legs.<\/p>\n<p id=\"4\"><strong>Treatment option for warts<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"urn:enhancement-3e9f0c4b-125f-48a4-a96e-62edba6c739d\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/warts\">Warts<\/span> developed by <span id=\"urn:enhancement-8bbfeca4-b9b6-4b6d-aa0d-f0d74031691d\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span> mostly go away if the infected individual is a child, but in general, the virus remains in the body and can reappear in the same area of prior infection or a new place. As <span id=\"urn:enhancement-f60a698e-e88c-43c5-aa12-7470997f0c54\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span> is one of the common infections found in the reproductive tract, almost 99% of the <span id=\"urn:enhancement-45b21268-6da1-4155-a83b-f4f01b5ec51c\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/cervical-cancer\">cervical cancer<\/span> occurrence can be linked to the presence of <span id=\"urn:enhancement-1fd0529a-f563-4280-a75c-fa71d9e54cfc\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span> infection. Among women, <span id=\"urn:enhancement-664de8e4-9451-418f-aedc-518cc316f956\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/cervical-cancer\">cervical cancer<\/span> is the frequently occurring cancer worldwide. <span id=\"urn:enhancement-a586a6ce-edcf-472b-ad53-15a215091083\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span> type 16 and 18 are commonly involved in <span id=\"urn:enhancement-92371e8f-e4c6-48eb-a3b4-3e5964094100\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/cervical-cancer\">cervical cancer<\/span> progression. However, for women with a weak immune system the time frame is 5-10 years.<\/p>\n<p id=\"6\"><strong>Risk factors of <span id=\"urn:enhancement-e21634cb-3c2c-4116-a8f0-1cd08022e448\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span><\/strong> associated <span id=\"urn:enhancement-41c95bcd-b505-447c-af26-ecfd1d96c42a\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/cervical-cancer\">cervical cancer<\/span> and several situations which increase the risk of <span id=\"urn:enhancement-f96d70b3-b9d3-463c-a8ac-a663fb3da856\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span> associated <span id=\"urn:enhancement-a2b965e0-2391-4383-b92b-56b7bec0a980\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/cervical-cancer\">cervical cancer<\/span> are<br \/>\n\u2022 Presence of multiple sexual partners.<br \/>\n\u2022 Use of tobacco<br \/>\n\u2022 Immune suppression: <span id=\"urn:enhancement-2e788be3-16aa-4955-aaaa-3338b1f4aab4\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hiv\">HIV<\/span> patients are more prone to get <span id=\"urn:enhancement-ab43c758-ba90-41a6-8acb-a2be051a61be\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span> infection.<br \/>\nSexual intercourse at an early age.<\/p>\n<p id=\"7\"><strong>Cervical cancer screening process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To reduce the mortality rate and detect <span id=\"urn:enhancement-04af3a80-6d97-4a5a-a183-713709ab9266\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/cervical-cancer\">cervical cancer<\/span> at earliest, screening methods to detect the presence of the <span id=\"urn:enhancement-8c61bd87-5178-4f27-9917-78069a9ebc30\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span> virus is recommended for the females in the age group of 30-49. There are three different methods used for the screening purpose, such as-<br \/>\n\u2022 Conventional methods like <span id=\"urn:enhancement-eb256fe0-0f96-450f-b222-4371d06f4b80\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/pap-test\">PAP test<\/span> and LBC or liquid-based cytology test.4<br \/>\n\u2022 Visual identification methods for confirmation of <span id=\"urn:enhancement-d2df1d17-41a7-4574-85f6-bc1a28da9620\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span>.<br \/>\n\u2022 Identification of <span id=\"urn:enhancement-c8b2fed8-5147-4fa9-8634-160490e4be0d\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span> patient who got infected by <span id=\"urn:enhancement-143908ee-4890-4612-aa58-60702d85198d\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span> types of high risk.<\/p>\n<p id=\"8\"><strong>HPV vaccine<\/strong><br \/>\nIn the United States, <span id=\"urn:enhancement-587f2d15-86b3-4630-bdb7-8c06b69d0712\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span> is known to cause 34000 variants of cancer in both male and females. Nearly, 31000 cases are preventable by the use of <span id=\"urn:enhancement-c53cabaa-0b2b-4521-9f1b-cbe9b297f5c8\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv-vaccine\">HPV vaccine<\/span>. There are three types of vaccines available in the market against <span id=\"urn:enhancement-b549183c-9175-4d7e-bf9f-4ab1dc1227d1\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span> infection which are <span id=\"urn:enhancement-277d8b58-ebcd-49d4-99db-7a44e3973445\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/gardasil\">Gardasil<\/span>, <span id=\"urn:enhancement-b59a1eec-0c23-4cb3-a5c0-3d80e8f429b0\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/gardasil\">Gardasil<\/span> 9 and <span id=\"urn:enhancement-f482dd5e-7298-471d-bca4-ac0c7ce0af6d\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/cervarix\">Cervarix<\/span>. These vaccines are capable of preventing infection against <span id=\"urn:enhancement-8ac0b3ae-1a2d-489d-9f56-2d6bcb2df54f\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/hpv\">HPV<\/span> type 16 and 18 which is responsible for 70% of the occurrence of <span id=\"urn:enhancement-dbe9715b-38c7-4c92-889e-3c73f0f0f62a\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\" itemid=\"https:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl1503301\/entity\/cervical-cancer\">cervical cancer<\/span>.
