Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Small volumes of anti-CD226 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

CD112 Poliovirus Receptor Related 2 (PRR2), is a new surface molecule, which has been reported to be homologous to the poliovirus receptor (CD155). Studies demonstrate that PRR2 expression is restrictred to the myelomonocytic and megakaryocytic lineages. PRR2 expresion has also been detected on haematopoeitic progenitors expressing CD34.

This gene encodes a glycoprotein expressed on the surface of NK cells, platelets, monocytes and a subset of T cells. It is a member of the Ig-superfamily containing 2 Ig-like domains of the V-set. The protein mediates cellular adhesion of platelets and megakaryocytic cells to vascular endothelial cells. The protein also plays a role in megakaryocytic cell maturation.
