Related Product Information for
anti-RAB5A antibody
Introduction: RAB5A is a member of RAS oncogene family. The small GTPase, RAB5A is a crucial regulatory component of the endocytic pathway. Activation of RAB5A is mediated by GDP-GTP exchange factors (GEFs) that generate the Rab5-GTP complex). RAB5A is required for the fusion of plasma membranes and early endosomes.
Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-RAB5A antibody
ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB)
Application Notes for anti-RAB5A antibody
RAB5A antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:500 ~ 1,000.Recommended starting dilution is 1:500.

UniProt Comments for RAB5A
RAB5A: Required for the fusion of plasma membranes and early endosomes. Contributes to the regulation of filopodia extension. Binds EEA1. Interacts with RIN1 and GAPVD1, which regulate its pathway, probably by acting as a GEF. Interacts with ALS2CL, RABEP1, SUN2, ZFYVE20 and RUFY1. Interacts with SGSM1 and SGSM3. Interacts with PIK3CB. Regulated by guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) which promote the exchange of bound GDP for free GTP. Belongs to the small GTPase superfamily. Rab family.
