Immunogen
Anti-human TOLLIP mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human TOLLIP amino acids 61-274 purified from E Coli.
Preparation and Storage
For periods up to 1 month store at 4 degree C, for longer periods of time, store at -20 degree C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.
12 months at -20 degree C. 1 month at 4 degree C.

Small volumes of anti-TOLLIP antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. TOLLIP antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:500 ~ 1,000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:500.

TOLLIP: Component of the signaling pathway of IL-1 and Toll-like receptors. Inhibits cell activation by microbial products. Recruits IRAK1 to the IL-1 receptor complex. Inhibits IRAK1 phosphorylation and kinase activity. Oligomerizes. Binds to TLR2 and the TLR4-MD2 complex via its C-terminus. Exists as complex with IRAK1 in unstimulated cells. Upon IL-1 signaling, Tollip binds to the activated IL-1 receptor complex containing IL-1RI, IL-1RacP and the adapter protein MyD88, where it interacts with the TIR domain of IL-1RacP. MyD88 then triggers IRAK1 autophosphorylation, which in turn leads to the dissociation of IRAK1 from Tollip and IL-1RAcP. Interacts with TOM1L2. Belongs to the tollip family.
