Species Reactivity
Recognzes the L domain (Val151-Ala364) of human alpha1 integrin (CD49a). Precipitates proteins of Mr 180kD, pI 5.9-6.0 (alpha chain) and Mr 115kD, pI 4.5-5.0 (beta chain) from human lymphocyte lysates. Does not recognize rat recombinant I domain of integrin alpha1.
Affinity Purified
Purified by Protein A Sepharose chromatography.
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.1, 0.15M sodium chloride. No preservatives added.
Integrin alpha 1L
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Other Notes
