Application Notes for anti-MIP-3beta antibody
Immunostaining: This antibody stained PBMC. The primary antibody was incubated at 5.0 ug/ml for one hour at room temperature followed by a fluorescent labeled secondary antibody.

Sandwich ELISA: In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100 ul/well), a concentration of 2.0-4.0 ug/ml of this antibody will detect recombinant Human MIP-3beta when used with biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-Human MIP-3beta as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 0.5-1.0 ug/ml.

Western Blot: To detect Human MIP-3f3 by Western Blot analYSis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 1.0-2.0 ug/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondry reagents the detection limit for recombinant Human MIP-3beta is 2.0-4.0 ng/lane, under reducing conditions.

Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application.

This antimicrobial gene is one of several CC cytokine genes clustered on the p-arm of chromosome 9. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene may play a role in normal lymphocyte recirculation and homing. It also plays an important role in trafficking of T cells in thymus, and in T cell and B cell migration to secondary lymphoid organs. It specifically binds to chemokine receptor CCR7.
