Other Notes
Small volumes of anti-Adeno-Associated Virus 2, VP1, VP2, VP3 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
VP1 and VP2 are highly enriched in the nucleus, while non-assembled VP3 is evenly distributed in the nucleus and the cytoplasm. Epitope identified a.a. 726 - a.a. 733 (C-terminus; common to all 3 VP proteins) as the specific binding region. The antibody is also useful for characterization of different stages of infection.
Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF)
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: 1:10
Immunoprecipitation: Mainly free VP proteins
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
