Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Other Notes
Small volumes of anti-MAST1 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

Syntrophin-associated serine/threonine kinase-124 (SAST-124) is a signalling molecule belonging to the microtubule-associated serine/threonine kinases. They have a unique structural feature with a serine/threonine kinase domain and a postsynaptic density protein-95/discs large/zona occludens-1 domain. SAST-124 is a signalling protein that binds to syntrophin, an adaptor protein that connects signalling molecules to the dystrophin-associated protein complex. SAST-124 is expressed in neurons of the subventricular zone and granule cells of the olfactory bulb, Islands of Calleja, hippocampal dentate gyrus and cerebellum. SAST-124 is selectively expressed in the nuclei of neurons. SAST-124 has a role in transcriptional regulation in the adult stem cells and their progeny cells in brain. SAST-124 is also located in glia-like small cells of the corpus callosum and the trigeminal ganglion cells indicating a function other than transcriptional regulation.
