It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Thrombopoietin in sterile 18M Omega -cm H2O not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity
ED50 range is less than 0.8 ng/ml as determined by the dose dependent stimulation of Mo7e cells.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized Thrombopoietin although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18 degree C. Upon reconstitution TPO Mouse should be stored at 4 degree C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18 degree C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Small volumes of mTPO recombinant protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
