MBS9321006 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Myb-like, SWIRM and MPN domains 1 (MYSM1) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing MYSM1. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS9321006 kit is based on MYSM1 antibody-MYSM1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect MYSM1 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, MYSM1. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

MYSM1: Metalloprotease that specifically deubiquitinates monoubiquitinated histone H2A, a specific tag for epigenetic transcriptional repression, thereby acting as a coactivator. Preferentially deubiquitinates monoubiquitinated H2A in hyperacetylated nucleosomes. Deubiquitination of histone H2A leads to facilitate the phosphorylation and dissociation of histone H1 from the nucleosome. Acts as a coactivator by participating in the initiation and elongation steps of androgen receptor (AR)-induced gene activation. Belongs to the peptidase M67A family. MYSM1 subfamily. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
