MBS030029 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Prokineticin Receptor 1 (PKR1) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing PKR1. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS030029 kit is based on PKR1 antibody-PKR1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect PKR1 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, PKR1. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

PROKR1: Receptor for prokineticin 1. Exclusively coupled to the G(q) subclass of heteromeric G proteins. Activation leads to mobilization of calcium, stimulation of phosphoinositide turnover and activation of p44/p42 mitogen-activated protein kinase. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.

Protein type: GPCR, family 1; Receptor, GPCR; Membrane protein, multi-pass; Membrane protein, integral

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 2p13.1

Cellular Component: plasma membrane; integral to membrane

Molecular Function: neuropeptide Y receptor activity

Biological Process: neuropeptide signaling pathway; negative regulation of apoptosis
