Small volumes of anti-MFF antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Related Product Information for
anti-MFF antibody
Function: Plays a role in mitochondrial and peroxisomal fission. Promotes the recruitment and association of the fission mediator dynamin-related protein 1 (DNM1L) to the mitochondrial surface. May be involved in regulation of synaptic vesicle membrane dynamics by recruitment of DNM1L to clathrin-containing vesicles.
Subunit Structure: Homodimer. Interacts with DNM1L (By similarity).
Similarity: Belongs to the Tango11 family.
Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-MFF antibody
Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
Application Notes for anti-MFF antibody
WB: 1:500-1:2000
IHC: 1:50-1:200

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) of anti-MFF antibody
MBS9600693 at 1/100 staining Human thyroid cancer tissue by IHC-P. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. The sample was then blocked and incubated with the antibody for 1.5 hours at 22 degree C. An HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit antibody was used as the secondary.

NCBI Summary for MFF
This is a nuclear gene encoding a protein that functions in mitochondrial and peroxisomal fission. The encoded protein recruits dynamin-1-like protein (DNM1L) to mitochondria. There are multiple pseudogenes for this gene on chromosomes 1, 5, and X. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2013]
UniProt Comments for MFF
