Application Notes for anti-NANOS1 antibody
Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1: 64000.
Western Blot: Approx 35-37kDa band observed in Human Testis lysates (calculated MW of 30.2kDa according to NP_955631.1). The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Clarke et al, Hum Mol Genet.2004 Apr 1;13(7): 727-39. Epub 2004 Feb 12, PMID: 14962983). Recommended concentration: 1-3ug/ml.

Western Blot (WB) of anti-NANOS1 antibody
(0.3ug/ml) staining of Human Testis lysate (35ug protein in RIPA buffer). Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence.

This protein co-localizes with the RNA-binding protein pumilio RNA-binding family member 2 and may be involved in regulating translation as a post-transcriptional repressor. Mutations in this gene are associated with spermatogenic impairment. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2015]
