Biological Significance
Oxoeicosanoid receptor 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the OXER1 gene. This protein acts as a receptor for eicosanoids and polyunsaturated fatty acids such as 5-oxo-6E,8Z,11Z,14Z-eicosatetraenoic acid (5-OXO-ETE). It Seems to be coupled to the Gi/Go, families of heteromeric G proteins. Leukotriene and related receptors act on peroxisome-proliferating receptors (PPARs) as well as the G-protein-coupled leukotriene receptors, and are important in inflammatory signaling pathways.
Biohazard Information
This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling.
synthetic 18 amino acid peptide from 1st extracellular domain of human OXER1.
Preparation and Storage
4 degree C short term, or aliquot and store undiluted at -20 degree C long term.
Other Notes
Small volumes of anti-OXER1 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
