If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-ABCB10 antibody
Peptide ELISA (EIA)
Application Notes for anti-ABCB10 antibody
Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1: 64000.
Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave bands at approx.90kDa and 50kDa in Human Bone Marrow lysates after 0. 05ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the bands we observe given the calculated size of 79.1kDa according to NP_036221.2 and given the expected mature size of ~65kDa according to Graf et al. (PMID: 15215243). Both detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide (and BLAST results with the immunizing peptide sequence did not identify any other proteins to explain the additional bands).

NCBI Summary for ABCB10
The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the MDR/TAP subfamily. Members of the MDR/TAP subfamily are involved in multidrug resistance. The function of this mitochondrial protein is unknown.
