Other Notes
Small volumes of anti-ADRB1 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

anti-ADRB1 antibody
Function: Beta-adrenergic receptors mediate the catecholamine-induced activation of adenylate cyclase through the action of G proteins. This receptor binds epinephrine and norepinephrine with approximately equal affinity. Mediates Ras activation through G(s)-alpha-and cAMP-mediated signaling.
Subunit Structure: Interacts (via C-terminus PDZ motif) with RAPGEF2; the interaction is direct. Interacts with GOPC, MAGI3 and DLG4.
Post-translational Modifications: Homologous desensitization of the receptor is mediated by its phosphorylation by beta-adrenergic receptor kinase.
Similarity: The PDZ domain-binding motif mediates competitive interactions with GOPC, MAGI3 and DLG4 and plays a role in subcellular location of the receptor. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. Adrenergic receptor subfamily. ADRB1 sub-subfamily.

Immunofluorescene (IF) of anti-ADRB1 antibody
MBS9604968 staining HT29 cells by IF/ICC. The sample were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25 degree C. The primary antibody was diluted at 1/200 and incubated with the sample for 1 hour at 37 degree C. An Alexa Fluor 594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) antibody, diluted at 1/600, was used as secondary antibody.

NCBI Summary for ADRB1
The adrenergic receptors (subtypes alpha 1, alpha 2, beta 1, and beta 2) are a prototypic family of guanine nucleotide binding regulatory protein-coupled receptors that mediate the physiological effects of the hormone epinephrine and the neurotransmitter norepinephrine. Specific polymorphisms in this gene have been shown to affect the resting heart rate and can be involved in heart failure. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
UniProt Comments for ADRB1
Beta-adrenergic receptors mediate the catecholamine-induced activation of adenylate cyclase through the action of G proteins. This receptor binds epinephrine and norepinephrine with approximately equal affinity. Mediates Ras activation through G(s)-alpha- and cAMP-mediated signaling.
