We suggest pre-experimenting with neat (undiluted) samples, 1:2 or 1:4 dilutions. Please avoid diluting your samples more than 1:10 as it would exceed the dilution limit set for this kit. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS7230242 kit is based on PRLR antibody-PRLR antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect PRLR antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, PRLR. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. This gene encodes a receptor for the anterior pituitary hormone, prolactin, and belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family. Prolactin-dependent signaling occurs as the result of ligand-induced dimerization of the prolactin receptor. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different membrane-bound and soluble isoforms have been described for this gene, which may function to modulate the endocrine and autocrine effects of prolactin in normal tissue and cancer.
