Biological Significance    This gene plays important functions in early cell signaling. Binds the cAMP response element (CRE) (consensus: 5'-GTGACGT[AG][AG]-3'), a sequence present in many viral and cellular promoters. It is an activator of the NF-ELAM1/delta-A site of the E-selectin promoter. Has no intrinsic transcriptional activity, but activates transcription on formation of JUN or FOS heterodimers. Also can bind TRE promoter sequences when heterodimerized with members of the JUN family.
Biohazard Information    This antibody solution contains sodium azide (NaN) as a preservative. There is a potential hazard that NaN reacts with copper or lead to produce an explosive compound. For safe disposal, the vial has to be washed thoroughly with water. It is strongly advised that this product should be handled by people who have been well trained in laboratory techniques and that it is handled with care pursuant to the principles of good laboratory practice.
Immunogen    ATF7 antibody was raised in mouse using recombinant Human For Atf-A Transcription Factor

Preparation and Storage    Store at 2-8 degree C for up to one year. We recommend long term storage at -20 degree C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Other Notes    Small volumes of anti-ATF7 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
