Related Product Information for anti-CA125 antibody

Mouse anti Human CA125 antibody, clone X75 (3C8/4) recognizes ovarian cancer antigen CA-125, also known as Mucin-16. Clone X75 recognizes epitope specificity group B (ISOBM classification) similar to M-11. CA-125 is a serum marker, overexpressed in epithelial ovarian cancer cells and is routinely used for patient monitoring. CA-125 was originally identified by Bast et al. using a monoclonal antibody developed against the ovarian cancer cell line OVCA433 (Bast et al. 1981). Mouse anti Human CA125 antibody, clone X75 has been sucessfully used as both a capture reagent and a detection reagent for the development of sensitive ELISA assays for the measurement of CA125 in human plasma samples.
 Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-CA125 antibody
