Purity/Purification Protein A affinity Form/Format Protein A affinity purified antibody supplied in a HRP stabilizer with preservative . Peroxidase/HRP conjugated Concentration 100ug/mL (lot specific) Cross-Reactivity B62-FE2 binds to an epitope on pVIII (phage coat protein) covering the N-Terminal region of the g8p AEGDDPAKAAFDSLQASAT Tag/Conjugate HRP Immunogen fd phages from E Coli F+ strain (JM109) Additional Remarks Use in Phage Display (immunoassays for the identification of recombinant antigen or antibody-phages)(Detection Limit: 10^7 phage particles.) Biological Significance M13 is a filamentous bacteriophage composed of circular single stranded DNA (ssDNA) which is 6407 nucleotides long encapsulated in approximately 2700 copies of the major coat protein P8, and capped with 5 copies of two different minor coat proteins (P9, P6, P3) on the ends. The minor coat protein P3 attaches to the receptor at the tip of the F pilus of the host Escherichia coli. Infection with filamentous phages is not lethal, however the infection causes turbid plaques in E Coli. Preparation and Storage Ships ambient or refrigerated. Upon receipt store at 4 degree C shor term, -20 degree C for long term. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles. Other Notes Small volumes of anti-M13 + fd + F1 Filamentous Phages antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
