Product Description specifically for anti-ANAPC11 antibody

   Anaphase-promoting complex (APC) is homologous to the two highly conserved RING finger proteins ROC1 and ROC2. APC11 specifically interacts with APC2, a cullin-related APC subunit. ROC1 and APC11 immunocomplexes can catalyze isopeptide ligations to form polyubiquitin chains in an E1-and E2-dependent manner. Combinations of ROC/APC11 and cullin proteins potentially constitute a wide variety of ubiquitin ligases.

 UniProt Comments for ANAPC11    APC11: Component of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), a cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin ligase that controls progression through mitosis and the G1 phase of the cell cycle. The APC/C complex acts by mediating ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of target proteins: it mainly mediates the formation of 'Lys-11'-linked polyubiquitin chains and, to a lower extent, the formation of 'Lys-48'- and 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains.
