Purity/Purification    Peptide content is approximately 72% of total mass. Peptide purity is >99% by HPLC analysis
 Form/Format    Purified
Purified synthetic peptide - lyophilised.
Concentration    Total protein concentration 1.0mg/ml after reconstitution. (lot specific)
Section Bar
Reconstitution    Reconstitute with 0.1ml sterile distilled water Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. MyBioSource recommends that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution. Quantity listed reflects amount of puified peptide and not total mass which would include TFA counterions and residual water.
 Buffer Solution    TFA salt.
 Target Species    Human
Section Bar
Preparation and Storage    Prior to reconstitution store at 4 degree C. After reconstitution store at -20 degree C. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the protein. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life: 12 months from date of reconstitution.
Other Notes    Small volumes of CBLN1 antigen vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

Related Product Information for CBLN1 antigen

Synthetic Human Cerebellin is a sixteen amino acid peptide corresponding to full-length human cerebellin, a secreted peptide derived from cleavage of cerebellin-1, a 193 amino acid (including signal peptide). Cerebellin has neuromodulatory functions including stimulating release of norepinephrine and adrenocortical secretion (Uniprot: P23435).

NCBI Summary for CBLN1    This gene encodes a cerebellum-specific precursor protein, precerebellin, with similarity to the globular (non-collagen-like) domain of complement component C1qB. Precerebellin is processed to give rise to several derivatives, including the hexadecapeptide, cerebellin, which is highly enriched in postsynaptic structures of Purkinje cells. Cerebellin has also been found in human and rat adrenals, where it has been shown to enhance the secretory activity of this gland. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2008]
