We will confirm the current details of the assay. We cannot guarantee the sample manual posted online is the most current manual.
Other Notes    Small volumes of ACC1 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for ACC1 purchase    MBS2602851 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Acetyl-CoA Carboxylase Synthetase (ACC) (ACC1) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 20 ng/ml-0.312 ng/ml in biological research samples containing ACC1, with an estimated sensitivity of 0.06 ng/ml. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS2602851 kit is based on ACC1 antibody-ACC1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ACC1 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, ACC1. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Bovine serum, plasma or cell culture supernatant and organizations in the natural and recombinant ACC concentration. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Related Product Information for ACC1 elisa kit

Principle of the Assay: This experiment use double-sandwich elisa technique and the ELISA Kit provided is typical. The pre-coated antibody is Bovine ACC monoclonal antibody and the detecting antibody is polyclonal antibody with biotin labeled. Samples and biotin labeling antibody are added into ELISA plate wells and washed out with PBS or TBS. Then Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added to ELISA wells in order; Use TMB substrate for coloring after reactant thoroughly washed out by PBS or TBS. TMB turns into blue in peroxidase catalytic and finally turns into yellow under the action of acid. The color depth and the testing factors in samples are positively correlated.

UniProt Comments for ACC1    Function: Carries out three functions: biotin carboxyl carrier protein, biotin carboxylase and carboxyltransferase. Involved in the synthesis of very-long-chain fatty acid synthesis which is required to maintain a functional nuclear envelope. Required for acylation and vacuolar membrane association of VAC8 which is necessary to maintain a normal morphology of the vacuole.5 PublicationsManual assertion based on experiment in:Ref.4

Catalytic activity: ATP + acetyl-CoA + HCO3- = ADP + phosphate + malonyl-CoA.

Cofactor: Biotin

Enzyme regulation: By phosphorylation. The catalytic activity is inhibited by soraphen A, a polyketide isolated from the myxobacterium Sorangium cellulosum and a potent inhibitor of fungal growth.1 PublicationManual assertion based on experiment in:Ref.8
