If the format of this assay is important to you then please request the current manual or contact our technical support team with a presales inquiry before placing an order. We will confirm the current details of the assay. We cannot guarantee the sample manual posted online is the most current manual.
Other Notes    Small volumes of LTF elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for LTF purchase    MBS704467 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Competitive ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the lactotransferrin (LTF) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 3.12 ug/ml-200 ug/ml in biological research samples containing LTF, with an estimated sensitivity of 3.12 ug/ml. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS704467 kit is based on LTF antibody-LTF antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect LTF antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, LTF. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Milk. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Related Product Information for LTF elisa kit

Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. An antibody specific to LTF/LF has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with HRP-conjugated LTF/LF and incubated. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between LTF/LF (Standards or samples) and HRP-conjugated LTF/LF with the pre-coated antibody specific for LTF/LF. The more amount of LTF/LF in samples, the less antibody bound by HRP-conjugated LTF/LF. Then the substrate solutions are added to the wells, respectively. And the color develops in opposite to the amount of LTF/LF in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
