The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing GRB2. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS091359 kit is based on GRB2 antibody-GRB2 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect GRB2 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, GRB2. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions.  NCBI Summary for GRB2    The protein encoded by this gene binds the epidermal growth factor receptor and contains one SH2 domain and two SH3 domains. Its two SH3 domains direct complex formation with proline-rich regions of other proteins, and its SH2 domain binds tyrosine phosphorylated sequences. This gene is similar to the Sem5 gene of C.elegans, which is involved in the signal transduction pathway.
