Other Notes    Small volumes of LH elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for LH purchase    MBS031319 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Sandwich (Quantitative) ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Luteinizing Hormone (LH) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 3.12 mIU/ml - 100 mIU/ml in biological research samples containing LH, with an estimated sensitivity of 1.0 mIU/ml. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS031319 kit is based on LH antibody-LH antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect LH antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, LH. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Undiluted original Fish body fluids, tissue homogenates, secretions or feces samples. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Related Product Information for LH elisa kit

Background: This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA kit is only for in vitro research use only, not for drug, household, therapeutic or diagnostic applications! This kit is intended to be used for determination the level of LH (hereafter termed "analyte") in undiluted original Fish body fluids, tissue homogenates, secretions or feces samples. This kit is NOT suitable for assaying non-biological sources of substances.

NCBI Summary for LH    This gene is a member of the glycoprotein hormone beta chain family and encodes the beta subunit of luteinizing hormone (LH). Glycoprotein hormones are heterodimers consisting of a common alpha subunit and an unique beta subunit which confers biological specificity. LH is expressed in the pituitary gland and promotes spermatogenesis and ovulation by stimulating the testes and ovaries to synthesize steroids. The genes for the beta chains of chorionic gonadotropin and for luteinizing hormone are contiguous on chromosome 19q13.3. Mutations in this gene are associated with hypogonadism which is characterized by infertility and pseudohermaphroditism. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

UniProt Comments for LH    LHB: Promotes spermatogenesis and ovulation by stimulating the testes and ovaries to synthesize steroids. Defects in LHB are a cause of hypogonadism LHB-related (HGON-LHB). Hypogonadism is characterized by infertility and pseudohermaphroditism. Belongs to the glycoprotein hormones subunit beta family.
