Preparation and Storage    The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
ISO Certification    Manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 Certified Laboratory.
Supply Chain Verification    Manufactured in a lab with traceable raw materials manufactured on site. Coordinated product portfolio of antibodies, pairs, conjugates, recombinant proteins, and immunoassay materials available. Please inquire.
Product Note    Our ELISA Kit assays are dynamic research tools and sometimes they may be updated and improved. If the format of this assay is important to you then please request the current manual or contact our technical support team with a presales inquiry before placing an order. We will confirm the current details of the assay. We cannot guarantee the sample manual posted online is the most current manual.
Other Notes    Small volumes of LMNB1 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for LMNB1 purchase    MBS2024959 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Double-antibody Sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Lamin B1 (LMNB1) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL in biological research samples containing LMNB1, with an estimated sensitivity of < 0.057ng/mL. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS2024959 kit is based on LMNB1 antibody-LMNB1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect LMNB1 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, LMNB1. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Tissue homogenates, Cell lysates and Other Biological Fluids. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Related Product Information for LMNB1 elisa kit

The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Lamin B1 (LMNB1). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Lamin B1 (LMNB1). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Lamin B1 (LMNB1), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Lamin B1 (LMNB1) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Summary for LMNB1    The nuclear lamina consists of a two-dimensional matrix of proteins located next to the inner nuclear membrane. The lamin family of proteins make up the matrix and are highly conserved in evolution. During mitosis, the lamina matrix is reversibly disassembled as the lamin proteins are phosphorylated. Lamin proteins are thought to be involved in nuclear stability, chromatin structure and gene expression. Vertebrate lamins consist of two types, A and B. This gene encodes one of the two B type proteins, B1. Alternative splicing results in transcript variants and a duplication of this gene is associated with autosomal dominant adult-onset leukodystrophy (ADLD). [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2010]

UniProt Comments for LMNB1    Lamin B1: nuclear lamins are intermediate filament proteins that constitute the lattice-like matrix at the inner face of the nuclear membrane that underlies the nuclear envelop. The lamins, highly conserved throughout evolution, are encoded by three genes in the human: LMNA, LMNB1, and LMNB2. The A-type lamins (lamin A/C) are developmentally regulated and are generally expressed in differentiated cells. The anchoring of chromatin to the nuclear lamina is involved in the control of gene expression and in DNA replication and repair. During mitosis, the nuclear lamina is reversibly disassembled as the lamin proteins are phosphorylated. B-type lamins are phosphorylated within minutes of engaging the IgM surface receptor of resting splenic B cells. Nuclear lamins are cleaved by caspases during apoptosis.
