Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for LPAR2 purchase    MBS9358093 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Quantitative Sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Lysophosphatidic Acid Receptor 2 (LPAR2) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 3.12 ng/ml - 100 ng/ml in biological research samples containing LPAR2, with an estimated sensitivity of 1.0 ng/ml. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS9358093 kit is based on LPAR2 antibody-LPAR2 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect LPAR2 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, LPAR2. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Body fluids, tissue homogenates, secretions or feces samples. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for LPAR2    This gene encodes a member of family I of the G protein-coupled receptors, as well as the EDG family of proteins. This protein functions as a lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) receptor and contributes to Ca2+ mobilization, a critical cellular response to LPA in cells, through association with Gi and Gq proteins. An alternative splice variant has been described but its full length sequence has not been determined. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

UniProt Comments for LPAR2    EDG4: Receptor for lysophosphatidic acid (LPA), a mediator of diverse cellular activities. Seems to be coupled to the G(i)/G(o), G(12)/G(13), and G(q) families of heteromeric G proteins. Plays a key role in phospholipase C-beta (PLC-beta) signaling pathway. Stimulates phospholipase C (PLC) activity in a manner that is independent of RALA activation. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.

Protein type: GPCR, family 1; Receptor, GPCR; Membrane protein, integral; Membrane protein, multi-pass

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 19p12

Cellular Component: cell surface; cytosol; endocytic vesicle; integral to plasma membrane; plasma membrane

Molecular Function: G-protein coupled receptor activity; lipid binding; PDZ domain binding; protein binding

Biological Process: activation of MAPK activity; elevation of cytosolic calcium ion concentration; G-protein coupled receptor protein signaling pathway; phospholipase C activation; positive regulation of Rho protein signal transduction
