Preparation and Storage    Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C.
Sample Preparation    We suggest pre-experimenting with neat (undiluted) samples, 1:2 or 1:4 dilutions. Please avoid diluting your samples more than 1:10 as it would exceed the dilution limit set for this kit. If the expected concentration of the target is beyond the detection range of the kit, please contact our technical support team
Product Note    Our ELISA Kit assays are dynamic research tools and sometimes they may be updated and improved. If the format of this assay is important to you then please request the current manual or contact our technical support team with a presales inquiry before placing an order. We will confirm the current details of the assay. We cannot guarantee the sample manual posted online is the most current manual.
Other Notes    Small volumes of CDC25C elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for CDC25C purchase    MBS7252176 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Competitive ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the M phase inducer phosphatase 3 (CDC25C) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 100-2500pg/mL in biological research samples containing CDC25C, with an estimated sensitivity of 1.0pg/mL. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS7252176 kit is based on CDC25C antibody-CDC25C antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect CDC25C antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, CDC25C. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Serum, plasma, Cell Culture Supernatants, body fluid and tissue homogenate. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for CDC25C    This gene is highly conserved during evolution and it plays a key role in the regulation of cell division. The encoded protein is a tyrosine phosphatase and belongs to the Cdc25 phosphatase family. It directs dephosphorylation of cyclin B-bound CDC2 and triggers entry into mitosis. It is also thought to suppress p53-induced growth arrest. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been described, however, the full-length nature of many of them is not known. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

UniProt Comments for CDC25C    CDC25C: a member of the MPI phosphatase family. Activates the cyclin dependent kinase CDC2 by removing two phosphate groups and it is required for entry into mitosis. Shuttles between the nucleus and the cytoplasm due to nuclear localization and nuclear export signals. The protein is nuclear in the M and G1 phases of the cell cycle and moves to the cytoplasm during S and G2. CDC25B has oncogenic properties, although its role in tumor formation has not been determined. At least four transcript variants for this gene exist. Three splice variant isoforms have been described.

Protein type: Protein phosphatase, dual-specificity; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; EC 3.1.3.48

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 5q31

Cellular Component: nucleoplasm; perinuclear region of cytoplasm; nucleus; cytosol

Molecular Function: protein binding; WW domain binding; protein tyrosine phosphatase activity; protein kinase binding

Biological Process: cell proliferation; mitosis; viral reproduction; regulation of cell cycle; cell division; regulation of mitosis; spermatogenesis; regulation of cyclin-dependent protein kinase activity; mitotic cell cycle; DNA replication; G2/M transition of mitotic cell cycle
