Other Notes    Small volumes of NAT1 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for NAT1 purchase    MBS9330814 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Sandwich (Quantitative) ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the N-acetyltransferase 1 (arylamine N-acetyltransferase) (NAT1) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 0.625ng/ml-20ng/ml in biological research samples containing NAT1, with an estimated sensitivity of 0.1ng/ml. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS9330814 kit is based on NAT1 antibody-NAT1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect NAT1 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, NAT1. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Undiluted original Human body fluids, tissue homogenates, secretions or feces samples. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for NAT1    This gene is one of two arylamine N-acetyltransferase (NAT) genes in the human genome, and is orthologous to the mouse and rat Nat2 genes. The enzyme encoded by this gene catalyzes the transfer of an acetyl group from acetyl-CoA to various arylamine and hydrazine substrates. This enzyme helps metabolize drugs and other xenobiotics, and functions in folate catabolism. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2011]
