Product Note    Our ELISA Kit assays are dynamic research tools and sometimes they may be updated and improved. If the format of this assay is important to you then please request the current manual or contact our technical support team with a presales inquiry before placing an order. We will confirm the current details of the assay. We cannot guarantee the sample manual posted online is the most current manual.
Other Notes    Small volumes of Respiratory Syncytial virus IgG elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for Respiratory Syncytial virus IgG purchase    MBS494534 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip-or-full plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Respiratory Syncytial virus IgG, ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 4 standards expressed in AU/ can be used qualitatively with cutoff standard in biological research samples containing Respiratory Syncytial virus IgG, with an estimated sensitivity of 1.22 U/mL. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS494534 kit is based on Respiratory Syncytial virus IgG antibody-Respiratory Syncytial virus IgG antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect Respiratory Syncytial virus IgG antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, Respiratory Syncytial virus IgG. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Serum and plasma (EDTA, heparin). Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Related Product Information for Respiratory Syncytial virus IgG elisa kit

Intended Use The RSV IgG Antibody ELISA Test Kit has been designed for the detection of IgG class antibodies against Respiratory syncytial virus in serum and plasma. For in-vitro diagnostics.

PRINCIPLE OF THE TEST The RSV IgG antibody test kit is based on the principle of the enzyme immunoassay (EIA). RSV antigen is bound on the surface of the microtiter strips. Diluted patient serum or ready-to-use standards are pipetted into the wells of the microtiter plate. A binding between the IgG antibodies of the serum and the immobilized RSV antigen takes place. After a one hour incubation at room temperature, the plate is rinsed with diluted wash solution, in order to remove unbound material. Then ready-to-use anti-human-IgG peroxidase conjugate is added and incubated for 30 minutes. After a further washing step, the substrate (TMB) solution is pipetted and incubated for 20 minutes, inducing the development of a blue dye in the wells. The color development is terminated by the addition of a stop solution, which changes the color from blue to yellow. The resulting dye is measured spectrophotometrically at the wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of the IgG antibodies is directly proportional to the intensity of the color.
