Other Notes    Small volumes of TIGIT elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for TIGIT purchase    MBS925929 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Sandwich (Quantitative) ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains (TIGIT) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 0.156 ng/ml-10 ng/ml in biological research samples containing TIGIT, with an estimated sensitivity of 0.039 ng/ml. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS925929 kit is based on TIGIT antibody-TIGIT antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect TIGIT antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, TIGIT. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Related Product Information for TIGIT elisa kit

Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for TIGIT has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any TIGIT present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for TIGIT is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TIGIT bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

NCBI Summary for TIGIT    This gene encodes a member of the PVR (poliovirus receptor) family of immunoglobin proteins. The product of this gene is expressed on several classes of T cells including follicular B helper T cells (TFH). The protein has been shown to bind PVR with high affinity; this binding is thought to assist interactions between TFH and dendritic cells to regulate T cell dependent B cell responses.[provided by RefSeq, Sep 2009]
Section Bar
UniProt Comments for TIGIT    TIGIT: Binds with high affinity to the poliovirus receptor (PVR) which causes increased secretion of IL10 and decreased secretion of IL12B and suppresses T-cell activation by promoting the generation of mature immunoregulatory dendritic cells. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Cell surface; Membrane protein, integral

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 3q13.31

Cellular Component: cell surface; plasma membrane; integral to membrane

Molecular Function: protein binding; receptor binding

Biological Process: negative regulation of interleukin-12 production; negative regulation of T cell activation; positive regulation of interleukin-10 production
