If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for TRIOBP purchase    MBS9340030 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Quantitative Sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the TRIO and F-actin binding protein (TRIOBP) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 0.625 ng/ml - 20 ng/ml in biological research samples containing TRIOBP, with an estimated sensitivity of 0.1 ng/ml. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS9340030 kit is based on TRIOBP antibody-TRIOBP antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect TRIOBP antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, TRIOBP. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Related Product Information for TRIOBP elisa kit

Background: This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA kit is only for in vitro research use only, not for drug, household, therapeutic or diagnostic applications! This kit is intended to be used for determination the level of TRIOBP (hereafter termed "analyte") in undiluted original Human body fluids, tissue homogenates, secretions or feces samples. This kit is NOT suitable for assaying non-biological sources of substances.

NCBI Summary for TRIOBP    This gene encodes a protein with an N-terminal pleckstrin homology domain and a C-terminal coiled-coil region. The protein interacts with trio, which is involved with neural tissue development and controlling actin cytoskeleton organization, cell motility and cell growth. The protein also associates with F-actin and stabilizes F-actin structures. Mutations in this gene have been associated with a form of autosomal recessive nonsyndromic deafness. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants that would encode different isoforms have been found for this gene, however some transcripts may be subject to nonsense-mediated decay (NMD). [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2008]

UniProt Comments for TRIOBP    Tara: May regulate actin cytoskeletal organization, cell spreading and cell contraction by directly binding and stabilizing filamentous F-actin. The localized formation of TARA and TRIO complexes coordinates the amount of F-actin present in stress fibers. May also serve as a linker protein to recruit proteins required for F-actin formation and turnover. Defects in TRIOBP are the cause of deafness autosomal recessive type 28 (DFNB28). 5 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Actin-binding; Cytoskeletal; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 22q13.1

Cellular Component: focal adhesion; cytoplasm; microtubule organizing center; midbody; nucleus; actin cytoskeleton

Molecular Function: actin filament binding; ubiquitin protein ligase binding; GTP-Rho binding; myosin II binding

Biological Process: mitosis; actin modification; cell division; barbed-end actin filament capping

Disease: Deafness, Autosomal Recessive 28
