Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for TLR7 purchase    MBS2883924 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL in biological research samples containing TLR7, with an estimated sensitivity of <0.09 ng/mL. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS2883924 kit is based on TLR7 antibody-TLR7 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect TLR7 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, TLR7. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as serum, plasma, tissue homogenates?cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for TLR7    The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family which plays a fundamental role in pathogen recognition and activation of innate immunity. TLRs are highly conserved from Drosophila to humans and share structural and functional similarities. They recognize pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) that are expressed on infectious agents, and mediate the production of cytokines necessary for the development of effective immunity. The various TLRs exhibit different patterns of expression. This gene is predominantly expressed in lung, placenta, and spleen, and lies in close proximity to another family member, TLR8, on chromosome X. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

UniProt Comments for TLR7    TLR7: Key component of innate and adaptive immunity. TLRs (Toll-like receptors) control host immune response against pathogens through recognition of molecular patterns specific to microorganisms. TLR7 is a nucleotide-sensing TLR which is activated by single-stranded RNA. Acts via MYD88 and TRAF6, leading to NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. Interacts with MYD88 via their respective TIR domains. Interacts with UNC93B1. Detected in brain, placenta, spleen, stomach, small intestine, lung and in plasmacytoid pre-dendritic cells. Belongs to the Toll-like receptor family.
