Preparation and Storage    For unopened kit: All the reagents should be kept according to the labels on vials. The Standard, Detection Reagent A, Detection Reagent B and the 96-well strip plate should be stored at -20 degree C upon receipt while the others should be at 4 degree C.

For opened kit: When the kit is opened, the remaining reagents still need to be stored according to the above storage condition. Besides, please return the unused wells to the foil pouch containing the desiccant pack, and reseal along entire edge of zip-seal.

The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
Other Notes    Small volumes of ETS1 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for ETS1 purchase    MBS2024832 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the V-Ets Erythroblastosis Virus E26 Oncogene Homolog 1 (ETS1) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards render a theoretical kit detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL in biological research samples containing ETS1, with an estimated sensitivity of Typically less than 0.063ng/mL. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS2024832 kit is based on ETS1 antibody-ETS1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ETS1 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, ETS1. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted human body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Tissue homogenates, Cell lysates and other biological fluids. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Product Description specifically for ETS1 elisa kit

Principle of the Assay: The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to V-Ets Erythroblastosis Virus E26 Oncogene Homolog 1 (ETS1). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to V-Ets Erythroblastosis Virus E26 Oncogene Homolog 1 (ETS1). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain V-Ets Erythroblastosis Virus E26 Oncogene Homolog 1 (ETS1), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of V-Ets Erythroblastosis Virus E26 Oncogene Homolog 1 (ETS1) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Summary for ETS1    This gene encodes a member of the ETS family of transcription factors, which are defined by the presence of a conserved ETS DNA-binding domain that recognizes the core consensus DNA sequence GGAA/T in target genes. These proteins function either as transcriptional activators or repressors of numerous genes, and are involved in stem cell development, cell senescence and death, and tumorigenesis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Jul 2011]

UniProt Comments for ETS1    Ets-1: a proto-oncogenic transcription factor homologous to the v-ets erythroblastosis virus oncogene. The DNA binding activity of Ets1 is controlled by kinases and transcription factors. It contributes to the regulation of cellular differentiation in hematopoietic cells. Ets1 promotes invasive behavior in endothelial cells, vascular smooth muscle cells and epithelial cancer cells. Regulates the expression of MMP1, MMP3, MMP9 and uPA as well as of VEGF and VEGFR gene expression. Two alternatively spliced isoforms have been described.
