Specificity    This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human CXCR7. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human CXCR7 and analogues was observed.
Section Bar
Samples    Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, Cell lysates
 Assay Type    Sandwich
 Detection Range    25 pg/ml -1600 pg/ml.
Sensitivity    The minimum detectable dose of human CXCR7 is typically less than 6.25 pg/ml. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest protein concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined the mean O.D value of 20 replicates of the zero standard added by their three standard deviations.
Intra-assay Precision    Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision    Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.

Preparation and Storage    Unopened test kits should be stored at 2 to 8 degree C upon receipt. Please refer to pdf manual for further storage instructions.
ISO Certification    Manufactured in an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Laboratory.
Product Note    Our ELISA Kit assays are dynamic research tools and sometimes they may be updated and improved. If the format of this assay is important to you then please request the current manual or contact our technical support team with a presales inquiry before placing an order. We will confirm the current details of the assay. We cannot guarantee the sample manual posted online is the most current manual.
Other Notes    Small volumes of CXCR7 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for CXCR7 purchase    MBS704512 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the chemokine (C-X-C motif) receptor 7 (CXCR7) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 25 pg/ml -1600 pg/ml in biological research samples containing CXCR7, with an estimated sensitivity of The minimum detectable dose of human CXCR7 is typically less than 6.25 pg/ml. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest protein concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined the mean O.D value of 20 replicates of the zero standard added by their three standard deviations. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS704512 kit is based on CXCR7 antibody-CXCR7 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect CXCR7 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, CXCR7. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, Cell lysates. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Product Description specifically for CXCR7 elisa kit

Principle of the assay: This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for CXCR7 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any CXCR7 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for CXCR7 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of CXCR7 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

NCBI Summary for CXCR7    This gene encodes a member of the G-protein coupled receptor family. Although this protein was earlier thought to be a receptor for vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP), it is now considered to be an orphan receptor, in that its endogenous ligand has not been identified. The protein is also a coreceptor for human immunodeficiency viruses (HIV). Translocations involving this gene and HMGA2 on chromosome 12 have been observed in lipomas. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

UniProt Comments for CXCR7    Function: Atypical chemokine receptor that controls chemokine levels and localization via high-affinity chemokine binding that is uncoupled from classic ligand-driven signal transduction cascades, resulting instead in chemokine sequestration, degradation, or transcytosis. Also known as interceptor (internalizing receptor) or chemokine-scavenging receptor or chemokine decoy receptor. Acts as a receptor for chemokines CXCL11 and CXCL12/SDF1. Chemokine binding does not activate G-protein-mediated signal transduction but instead induces beta-arrestin recruitment, leading to ligand internalization and activation of MAPK signaling pathway. Required for regulation of CXCR4 protein levels in migrating interneurons, thereby adapting their chemokine responsiveness. In glioma cells, transduces signals via MEK/ERK pathway, mediating resistance to apoptosis. Promotes cell growth and survival. Not involved in cell migration, adhesion or proliferation of normal hematopoietic progenitors but activated by CXCL11 in malignant hemapoietic cells, leading to phosphorylation of ERK1/2 (MAPK3/MAPK1) and enhanced cell adhesion and migration. Plays a regulatory role in CXCR4-mediated activation of cell surface integrins by CXCL12. Required for heart valve development. Acts as coreceptor with CXCR4 for a restricted number of HIV isolates.13 PublicationsManual assertion based on experiment in:Ref.9
