Specificity    This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of ANXA1. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between ANXA1 and analogues was observed. Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross- reactivity detection between ANXA1 and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist.

Preparation and Storage    The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
ISO Certification    Manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 Certified Laboratory.
Supply Chain Verification    Manufactured in a lab with traceable raw materials manufactured on site. Coordinated product portfolio of antibodies, pairs, conjugates, recombinant proteins, and immunoassay materials available. Please inquire.
Product Note    Our ELISA Kit assays are dynamic research tools and sometimes they may be updated and improved. If the format of this assay is important to you then please request the current manual or contact our technical support team with a presales inquiry before placing an order. We will confirm the current details of the assay. We cannot guarantee the sample manual posted online is the most current manual.
Other Notes    Small volumes of ANXA1 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for ANXA1 purchase    MBS2021503 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Quantitative Sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Annexin A1 (ANXA1) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 31.2-2,000pg/mL in biological research samples containing ANXA1, with an estimated sensitivity of 12.4pg/mL. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS2021503 kit is based on ANXA1 antibody-ANXA1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ANXA1 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, ANXA1. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Related Product Information for ANXA1 elisa kit

Intended Uses: The kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of ANXA1 in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: The microplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to ANXA1. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microplate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to ANXA1. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain ANXA1, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm 10nm. The concentration of ANXA1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Summary for ANXA1    This gene encodes a membrane-localized protein that binds phospholipids. This protein inhibits phospholipase A2 and has anti-inflammatory activity. Loss of function or expression of this gene has been detected in multiple tumors. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2014]
Section Bar
UniProt Comments for ANXA1    ANXA1: a calcium/phospholipid-binding protein with which promotes membrane fusion and is involved in endocytosis. Has anti-inflammatory properties and inhibits phospholipase A2 activity. Accumulates on internalized vesicles after EGF-stimulated endocytosis, suggesting that it may be required for a late stage in inward vesiculation. Phosphorylated by PKC, EGFR and Chak1. Phosphorylation results in loss of the inhibitory activity. Annexins are a family of structurally related proteins whose common property is calcium-dependent binding to phospholipids. There are at least ten different annexins in mammalian species. Annexins do not contain signal peptides, yet some annexins (A1, A2 and A5) appear to be secreted in a physiologically regulated fashion.
