Specificity    This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of FPR2 . No significant cross-reactivity or interference between FPR2 and analogues was observed. Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is difficult for us to complete the crossreactivity detection between FPR2 and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist.

Product Note    Our ELISA Kit assays are dynamic research tools and sometimes they may be updated and improved. If the format of this assay is important to you then please request the current manual or contact our technical support team with a presales inquiry before placing an order. We will confirm the current details of the assay. We cannot guarantee the sample manual posted online is the most current manual.
Other Notes    Small volumes of FPR2 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for FPR2 purchase    MBS764510 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Formyl Peptide Receptor 2 (FPR2) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 31.25-2000pg/ml in biological research samples containing FPR2, with an estimated sensitivity of <18.75pg/ml. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS764510 kit is based on FPR2 antibody-FPR2 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect FPR2 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, FPR2. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Related Product Information for FPR2 elisa kit

Principle of the Assay: This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. Anti- FPR2 antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated anti- FPR2 antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and washed with wash buffer. HRPStreptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the FPR2 amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of FPR2 can be calculated.

UniProt Comments for FPR2    FPR2: Low affinity receptor for N-formyl-methionyl peptides, which are powerful neutrophils chemotactic factors. Binding of FMLP to the receptor causes activation of neutrophils. This response is mediated via a G-protein that activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The activation of LXA4R could result in an anti-inflammatory outcome counteracting the actions of proinflammatory signals such as LTB4 (leukotriene B4). Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.

Protein type: GPCR, family 1; Membrane protein, integral; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; Receptor, GPCR; Membrane protein, multi-pass

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 19q13.3-q13.4

Cellular Component: integral to membrane; plasma membrane

Molecular Function: G-protein coupled receptor activity; N-formyl peptide receptor activity

Biological Process: cell adhesion; cell motility; chemotaxis; G-protein coupled receptor protein signaling pathway; inflammatory response
