Specificity    This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of ITGb3. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between ITGb3 and analogues was observed.
Section Bar
Samples    Mouse serum, plasma and other biological fluids
 Detection Range    31.2-2,000pg/mL
Sensitivity    The minimum detectable dose of mouse ITGb3 is typically less than 13.5pg/mL. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest protein concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined by adding two standard deviations to the mean optical density value of twenty zero standard replicates and calculating the corresponding concentration.
Intra-assay Precision    Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level ITGb3 were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-assay Precision    Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level ITGb3 were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. CV(%) = SD/meanX100. Inter-Assay: CV<12%
Intended Uses    The kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of ITGb3 in mouse serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Preparation and Storage    For unopened kit: All the reagents should be kept according to the labels on vials. The Standard, Detection Reagent A, Detection Reagent B and the 96-well strip plate should be stored at -20 degree C upon receipt while the others should be at 4 degree C.

For opened kit: When the kit is opened, the remaining reagents still need to be stored according to the above storage condition. Besides, please return the unused wells to the foil pouch containing the desiccant pack, and reseal along entire edge of zip-seal.

The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
Product Note    Our ELISA assays are dynamic research tools and sometimes they may be updated and improved. If the format of this assay is important to you then please request the current manual or contact our technical support team with a presales inquiry before placing an order. We will confirm the current details of the assay. We cannot guarantee the sample manual posted online is the most current manual.
Other Notes    Small volumes of ITGb3 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Searchable Terms for ITGb3 purchase    MBS2024149 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Integrin Beta 3 (ITGb3) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 31.2-2,000pg/mL in biological research samples containing ITGb3, with an estimated sensitivity of The minimum detectable dose of mouse ITGb3 is typically less than 13.5pg/mL. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest protein concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined by adding two standard deviations to the mean optical density value of twenty zero standard replicates and calculating the corresponding concentration. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS2024149 kit is based on ITGb3 antibody-ITGb3 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ITGb3 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, ITGb3. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Mouse serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Product Description specifically for ITGb3 elisa kit

Principle of the assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to ITGb3. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to ITGb3. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain ITGb3, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm +/- 10nm. The concentration of ITGb3 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Summary for ITGb3    The ITGB3 protein product is the integrin beta chain beta 3. Integrins are integral cell-surface proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. A given chain may combine with multiple partners resulting in different integrins. Integrin beta 3 is found along with the alpha IIb chain in platelets. Integrins are known to participate in cell adhesion as well as cell-surface mediated signalling. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

UniProt Comments for ITGb3    ITGB3: integrin alpha-V/beta-3 is a receptor for cytotactin, fibronectin, laminin, matrix metalloproteinase-2, osteopontin, osteomodulin, prothrombin, thrombospondin, vitronectin and von Willebrand factor. Integrin alpha-IIB/beta-3 is a receptor for fibronectin, fibrinogen, plasminogen, prothrombin, thrombospondin and vitronectin. Integrins alpha-IIB/beta-3 and alpha-V/beta-3 recognize the sequence R-G-D in a wide array of ligands. Integrin alpha-IIB/beta-3 recognizes the sequence H-H-L-G-G-G-A-K-Q-A-G-D-V in fibrinogen gamma chain. Following activation integrin alpha- IIB/beta-3 brings about platelet/platelet interaction through binding of soluble fibrinogen. This step leads to rapid platelet aggregation which physically plugs ruptured endothelial surface.
