Searchable Terms for IL31RA purchase    MBS921564 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Quantitative Sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the interleukin 31 receptor A (IL31RA) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 78 pg/ml -5000 pg/ml in biological research samples containing IL31RA, with an estimated sensitivity of Typically less than 19.5 pg/ml. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS921564 kit is based on IL31RA antibody-IL31RA antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect IL31RA antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, IL31RA. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Related Product Information for IL31RA elisa kit

Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for IL31RA has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any IL31RA present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for IL31RA is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of IL31RA bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

UniProt Comments for IL31RA    IL31RA: Associates with OSMR to form the interleukin-31 receptor which activates STAT3 and to a lower extent STAT1 and STAT5. May function in skin immunity. Defects in IL31RA are the cause of amyloidosis primary localized cutaneous type 2 (PLCA2). PLCA2 is primary amyloidosis characterized by localized cutaneous amyloid deposition. This condition usually presents with itching (especially on the lower legs) and visible changes of skin hyperpigmentation and thickening that may be exacerbated by chronic scratching and rubbing. Primary localized cutaneous amyloidosis is often divided into macular and lichen subtypes although many affected individuals often show both variants coexisting. Lichen amyloidosis characteristically presents as a pruritic eruption of grouped hyperkeratotic papules with a predilection for the shins, calves, ankles and dorsa of feet and thighs. Papules may coalesce to form hyperkeratotic plaques that can resemble lichen planus, lichen simplex or nodular prurigo. Macular amyloidosis is characterized by small pigmented macules that may merge to produce macular hyperpigmentation, sometimes with a reticulate or rippled pattern. In macular and lichen amyloidosis, amyloid is deposited in the papillary dermis in association with grouped colloid bodies, thought to represent degenerate basal keratinocytes. The amyloid deposits probably reflect a combination of degenerate keratin filaments, serum amyloid P component, and deposition of immunoglobulins. Belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family. Type 2 subfamily. 12 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Research Articles on IL31RA    1. IL31RA is a functional receptor expressed by a small subpopulation of IL-31RA(+)/TRPV1(+)/TRPA1(+) neurons and is a critical neuroimmune link between TH2 cells and sensory nerves for the generation of T cell-mediated itch.
