Searchable Terms for GRIN2A purchase    MBS2602637 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate Sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Glutamate [NMDA] receptor subunit epsilon-1, GRIN2A, ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range of 20 ng/ml-0.312 ng/ml in biological research samples containing GRIN2A, with an estimated sensitivity of 0.06 ng/ml. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS2602637 kit is based on GRIN2A antibody-GRIN2A antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect GRIN2A antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, GRIN2A. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions such as Rat serum, plasma or Cell Culture Supernatant and organizations in the natural and recombinant GRIN2A concentration. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Product Description specifically for GRIN2A elisa kit

Principle of the assay: This experiment use double-sandwich elisa technique and the ELISA Kit provided is typical. The pre-coated antibody is Rat GRIN2A monoclonal antibody and the detecting antibody is polyclonal antibody with biotin labeled. Samples and biotin labeling antibody are added into ELISA plate wells and washed out with PBS or TBS. Then Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added to ELISA wells in order; Use TMB substrate for coloring after reactant thoroughly washed out by PBS or TBS. TMB turns into blue in peroxidase catalytic and finally turns into yellow under the action of acid. The color depth and the testing factors in samples are positively correlated.

Section Bar
UniProt Comments for GRIN2A    NMDAR2A: a subunit of N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors, members of the glutamate receptor channel superfamily. Possesses high calcium permeability and voltage-dependent sensitivity to magnesium and is modulated by glycine. Plays a key role in synaptic plasticity, synaptogenesis, excitotoxicity, memory acquisition and learning. Mediates neuronal functions in glutamate neurotransmission.

Research Articles on GRIN2A    1. data support the argument that PS to pregnant dams could induce depression-like behavior, which may be involved with abnormal expression of NR1 and NR2A in specific brain regions, and MK-801 may have antidepressant-like effects on the juvenile offspring
