Preparation and Storage    Storage: Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Store at 2-8 degree C for one month.
Aliquot and store at -80 degree C for 12 months.
Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Other Notes    Small volumes of ANXA4 recombinant protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

UniProt Comments for ANXA4    ANXA4: a calcium/phospholipid-binding protein which promotes membrane fusion and is involved in exocytosis. Annexins are a family of structurally related proteins whose common property is calcium-dependent binding to phospholipids. There are at least ten different annexins in mammalian species. Annexins do not contain signal peptides, yet some annexins (A1, A2 and A5) appear to be secreted in a physiologically regulated fashion.

Protein type: Calcium-binding; Lipid-binding

Cellular Component: nuclear membrane; cell surface; perinuclear region of cytoplasm; apical plasma membrane; cytoplasm; plasma membrane; vesicle membrane; nucleus

Molecular Function: identical protein binding; NF-kappaB binding; calcium-dependent phospholipid binding; calcium ion binding; calcium-dependent protein binding

Biological Process: regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; inhibition of NF-kappaB transcription factor; kidney development
