Preparation and Storage    Prior to reconstitution store at 4 degree C. Following reconstitution store at -20 degree C. This product should be stored undiluted. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the protein. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life: 3 months from date of reconstitution.
Other Notes    Small volumes of G-CSF recombinant protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

UniProt Comments for G-CSF    G-CSF: Granulocyte/macrophage colony-stimulating factors are cytokines that act in hematopoiesis by controlling the production, differentiation, and function of 2 related white cell populations of the blood, the granulocytes and the monocytes-macrophages. This CSF induces granulocytes. Belongs to the IL-6 superfamily. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Cytokine; Cell cycle regulation; Secreted, signal peptide; Secreted

Cellular Component: extracellular space; extracellular region

Molecular Function: enzyme binding; growth factor activity; cytokine activity

Biological Process: positive regulation of phosphoinositide 3-kinase cascade; positive regulation of protein kinase B signaling cascade; positive regulation of peptidyl-tyrosine phosphorylation; positive regulation of myeloid cell differentiation; positive regulation of actin filament polymerization; positive regulation of protein binding; granulocyte differentiation; positive regulation of cell proliferation; positive regulation of transcription factor import into nucleus; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; immune response; positive regulation of peptidyl-serine phosphorylation
